Simulation games are also one of the component of situating tool. So, in this class we have played two simulation games; Bug on the wire and Flight. The link was already uploaded in the vle by our tutor.

Bug on a wire

The first simulation game that we played is the bug on the wire game. It is a game similar to temple run where a boy runs on a wire ( let's say electric wire). At some point, a crow appears on the wire so we as a character (boy) have to avoid the crow by jumping or sliding to left and right. The boy is eaten by crow when we as a player fails to avoid it. So the game ends. So, when I was playing this game, it made me think and feel that I am actually running away from crows and makes me tensed. I felt like I am the real boy running for my life. At some point, I shouted while playing this game since I was in the shoe of that main character. So this simulation game particularly bug on the wire is totally situating me to their world.

Flight

Flight was the second simulation game that we played today. I am not interested in aircraft but it made feel like I am traveling on the aircraft. So here is the link if you want to play the flight.
