Constructing Parallelogram Using GeoGebra

Image
Today, we have learned how to construct 2-D shapes using GeoGebra. In this, we have learned that we must let students follow the concept skills, process skills, and product skills while constructing the shape as follows; 1.       Concept skills: It is a 2-D shape in which opposite sides are equal and parallel at the same time. It has four sides, four corners, and four vertexes.                                              Figure 1.1: Parallelogram 2.      2. Process skills (Procedural steps) 3.       3. Product skills (Output/result) Figure 1.2: Parallelogram Construction without hiding the unnecessary objects Figure 1.3: The final Parallelogram ABCD

Using Coggle.it (Co-Constructive Tool) and Google Docs for Collaborative Lesson Plan

Image
Today we have used coggle.it to construct the skeleton overview of our group lesson plan.  Link to the skeleton overview of our lesson plan from coggle.it:  https://coggle.it/diagram/YqHb1TctkO-aUOGZ/t/ict-lesson-planning-download-6-2022-6-6-10-58 Photo of the draft skeleton overview of our lesson plan Link to the lesson plan:  https://coggle.it/diagram/YoHnWg8o3JWkdkRx/t/ict-lesson-planning-download-6?utm_source=transaction&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=retain   Last time, I used coggle.it to design the concept map of visiting Taktsang myself. In that case, it was only me creating that concept map so the coggle.it that I used, in that case, was a constructive tool. In today's case, I and the other 6 group members jointly constructed the skeleton overview of our lesson plan. We have chosen the topic " Protecting Habitat" from class five science.  The steps in creating a concept map are already posted in the previous post.  The steps in planni...

ICT as Situating Tool

Image
ICT as a Situating Tool Situating tools is the system that situates users in an environment where they may experience the context and the happening. Through this, it helps to create real live pictures and capture and display the real events that give users a feeling as it is happening in that situation. It helps to give that feeling of reaching into that situation.  In this, we have learned to use situating tools such as Google Map, google earth, simulation game, GraphCal, and GeoGebra.

Constructive Tool Using Coggle.it

Image
Today, we have learned on how to create concept mapping using Coggle.it. Coogle.it can be both constructive as well as co-constructive tool. As I have created concept map on visiting to Taktsang alone, it will be constructive tool. If I invite many friends to create one particular concept, then it will be co-constructive tool.  I came to know that Coggle.it can be used while doing brainstorming before writing essay, story, in research, and planning on something. It can also be used to teach the particular concepts to the students. It was very interesting and fun. I can use this concepts in my future to teach my students the concepts of something and also use in my academic as well as non-academic activities.  Process on how I created the concept mapping on visiting Taktsang using Coggle.it Type coggle.it in URL and search it Click on Login Click on Sign in with google Login to my Gmail account Dialogue box pop up saying Hello! Welcome to Coggle From that choose Education Selec...

Creating Google Classroom

Image
Google Classroom What is google classroom : Google classroom is an online app usually for the purpose of teaching and learning processes. In that teachers can assign assignments, tasks, rubrics, provide notes, instructions, and many more while students can have access to notes uploaded by the teacher and submit assignments and tasks. At the same time, marks can be graded and returned to the students as well as to their parents.  It is very useful while conducting online classes since it helps both teachers and learners to make teaching and learning possible using Google classroom apps. Today, we have created an account of google classroom, changed the cover photo, written an announcement/welcome note, invited co-teachers and students, and made a weekly plan. Steps to create a google classroom Type "https://classroom.google.com." in the chrome Sign in using your Google account, type the name of your Google account  Enter your google account password, proceed with the next butt...

Constructive tool & Simulation lesson

Image
Constructive Tool A constructive tool is a general-purpose tool that can be used to manipulate information, construct their own knowledge or visualize students' understanding. Some examples of constructive tools such as Desktop publishing programs are MS Word, Spreadsheet & PowerPoint, Concept mapping, and Multimedia software tools such as Camtasia studio, google classroom, etc. for designing the learning materials to enhance teaching and learning. ICT-based constructive tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Social networks, and C-map tools help learners to learn concepts. But in this class, we have learned how to create simple simulation lessons using PowerPoint presentations. So, I will upload the simulation lesson which I have created using only one slide in ppt. The simulation lesson is on germination, class 4 science. It only teaches the basic concepts of germination and some of the processes of germination. Process of creating simple simulation in ppt Open the ppt s...
